Which web browsers are best for using CrossUnite?

CrossUnite is optimized for use on Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0.

How do I report inappropriate content?

In the bottom left hand corner of your screen, click on the “Report Inappropriate Content” button, enter in the problem, and click “Send”.

How do I log in?

Go to CrossUnite home page, enter in your username and password, and click “Log In”.

What do I do if I forgot my username or password?

On the CrossUnite home page, under the log in section, click “Forgot Username or Password”. Enter in the information that you have (either your username or e-mail) and click “Send”. Check your e-mail for further assistance.

How do I change my username?

Your username uniquely identifies you in our system. This allows other members to find and connect to you. Because of this we do not allow you to change the username on your account. You can always create a new account if you want a different username.

How do I change my password?

On your page, click “Edit Profile”, click on “Change Password”, enter in the appropriate information, then click “Change Password, and “Save”.

What can a group leader do versus what a group member can do?

The leader is in control of the whole group page, and can add or delete any content on the page (documents, photos, videos, schedule, etc). A member can add documents, photos and videos, but only to an existing album, and they cannot delete anything. A member has no access to change or add to the schedule.

How do I edit my Group’s Profile and Settings?

Go to your group page, click on “Edit Profile” under the control panel, and then choose what you want to edit using the tabs at the top of the page.

How do I invite members to my group?

Scroll down to Group Roster, Click “Manage Roster”, click on “Members”, “Add Member” or “Add Multiple Members”, enter in the required information and click “Save and Invite”.

How do I add leaders to my group?

Scroll down to Group Roster, Click on “Manage Roster”, click on the “Leaders” tab, and then click on “Add Leader” or “Add Multiple Leaders”. Enter in the required information and click “Save and Invite”.

How do I delete a group member from my group?

Scroll down to Group Roster, Click “Manage Roster”, click on the “Members” tab, find the member you want to delete, and click the “Remove” button next to their name.

How do I get a group connection code to give out to members when they want to join a group?

The “Group Connection Code” is located next to the member’s name on the “Manage Roster” page and is unique for each member. Members must go to their personal page, go to “My Groups” page, click on the “Connect to a Group” tab, enter the code and they will be connected to the group.

How do I send alerts to my team?

Leaders can send a message to the group by clicking on the “Contact Group” button in the control panel on the left side. Each member will receive the message either via e-mail alert or text message. Members can only receive text alerts if they have entered and verified a mobile number and carrier in the “Edit Alerts” section of their personal page.
